When you haven’t written in your blog for as long as I have, It’s almost impossible to look back at all of the things you’ve done and talk about all of them.  When life is busy, I guess it’s good!

The boys are growing like weeds!  Adderley was once a baby, now he’s a kid who likes to play rough, tell jokes and dress himself.  Coltrane is half way through Kindergarten and quickly learning to read.  Who knew parenthood would be such a blast?!  ​

Amber & I just took a short “adult only” trip to Mexico in January to get away and feel young again!  We’re taking the boys to Disneyland in April and the boys are completely stoked!​

Since I haven’t made a blog entry for months, lets just say that my time was spent doing the things I love, keeping busy and trying to grow!  I have always exercised but the last 6 months have been extremely good in that department.  I’ve been religiously cross training every winter morning and getting out for runs whenever the weather and time permits.  I’ve really embraced winter running this year.  For the first 2 winters in Alberta, I avoided going outside when it was below 0, now I run at -20 and it feels amazing!

Work has been great, however we didn’t end up getting the license in Edmonton that we applied for which was a major disappointment.  We did however acquire a new station in the Toronto market, so it was not all bad!  The Calgary station was busier in our third year than ever and we managed to conquer all new challenges.  We have a great staff and I believe that nurturing a positive work environment is the key to growing.​

I’ll be happy when the winter ends, it’s been the coldest for us yet.  I have to shovel my sidewalk this morning for about the 15th time!  Alberta’s a great place in many ways, but it’s no BC ;)
